NTVA (NO) proposes to establish a platform on Safety and Security.

The mission statement could be:

• To further a better understanding of the concepts “safety and security” and their characteristics, synergies, and possible conflicts, and their importance to society.

• To make recommendations to relevant authorities and other stakeholders regarding safety and security policies, as well as policy implementation and management

• To work for strengthening the higher education relating to the topics

• To develop and European network for cooperation and sharing knowledge within the areas.
