The environmental benefits from DC (Dynamic Compaction) are significant – the ground is consolidated in situ so there is no need for transportation and deposit of soil spoils or waste. This paper presents the main theoretical aspects of the method, and explains based on recent experiences in Romania how it can be used for sustainable construction projects.
