For many projects the improvement of the soil is required over a great thickness, considering the increase of the bearing capacity of the foundation soil in order to support the construction loads, to eliminate the collapse potential of the loess deposits and to limit general and differential settlement etc. To achieve these requirements, it is necessary to improve the soil with a grid of concrete vertical displacement inclusions.
