This paper attempts to examine the issue of air conditioning which must meet the following requirements: to conserve the energy, to protect the environment and to be compact as geometry. For this purpose are presented air conditioning refrigeration systems that use renewable energy sources (solar energy), natural refrigerants for environment protection, under international norms and compact heat exchangers (plate, microchanels).
