This paper analyses the opportunity of accomplishing a navigable link between Bucharest and Danube – Trans-European Transport Corridor VII.
There are summarized the studies / projects developed for this navigable link from the late nineteenth century, as well as the works performed in 1986-1990, including the dysfunctions caused by their suspension / abandonment.
